Common Ground Adventures, Inc. was founded in 1989 in Upstate New York by Lillian Hewitt, owner.  In the early years of the business, the focus of her work was team development. Lillian built a strong track record of team success by consistently putting her finger on the pulse of what would be required to achieve higher team performance and then designing and delivering customized adventure-based interventions to achieve results.

In the past ten years we have grown from a one consultant firm to an organization that has delivered training, coaching and management consulting services in almost every state of the USA.  In 1998 the corporation formed a dba Common Ground Associates to signify the development of our services, which have evolved to include the delivery of traditional training and consulting in response to meeting the needs of our long term customer base.
